Wishing Well
May 6, 2010
Some of our members have today relocated Round Table Gibraltar's stunning wishing well within the Cruise Liner Terminal. The monumental structure, made from stone, glass and metal, was until today located close to the exit point of the terminal for arriving passengers. Not only was it not in a prominent position, but by the very nature of its location visitors would at that stage be keen to keep of their loose change as they would be at the start of a spending spree on the Rock.
We have now moved the structure to the departure lounge, past the customs and security x-ray posts. Passengers will at this stage have no use for local currency, will have just dropped their coins into one of those annoying little x-ray machine trays, and will hopefully be tempted to drop their metal into our collection box before re-boarding their cruise ship.
We will hopefully be in a position to re-post news on the success of this strategic move!
Hasta la pasta.
